In their short meeting, both had a brief conversation and Moreno posted about it later in his Instagram story. The fighter mentioned that Trump admired his Mexican style of fighting and is a fan of his. Moreno also joked that Trump will not deport him back to Mexico although he never promised anything.
He wrote: “I had a talk with the man [Donald Trump]. He says he likes my Mexican style of fighting and that if he becomes president again, he won’t try to deport me, but he doesn’t promise me anything.“
Donald Trump has been following UFC since it started and also helped Dana White to host the shows when they were out of arenas to hold the fights. Both Dana White and Trump have shared a great relationship since then and Trump often visits UFC events.

Brandon Moreno meets Israel Adesanya for congratulating him on his win at UFC 287
Brandon Moreno was there at UFC 287, and after the main event fight made sure to meet and congratulate Israel Adesanya on his incredible KO victory over Alex Pereira. Both champions met backstage and hugged each other. Izzy was respectful and said thanks to Moreno and also invited him to the after-party.
Previously Israel Adesanya supported Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo ahead of their fourth fight blaming fans for having biased opinions regarding Flyweights. Adesanya has always had a great affinity towards Moreno as he feels the Mexcian is one of the nicest guys in the UFC. Hence, he invited the former champion to his after-party.
“Gracias. See you soon. If you wanna come at 11, that’s where we are,” said Adesanya. Both Adesanya and Moreno in their last fights took revenge on their arch-rivals and co-incidentally, both Alex Pereira and Deiveson Figueiredo were Brazillian champions.
