Reality TV star Steve-O is known for his dangerous stunt performances and life-threatening injuries. His recent involvement in the comedy and MMA community has met a lot of success for the star. This time, an unexpected encounter of his with UFC veteran Michael Bisping had gone viral.
A rear naked choke in MMA involves wrapping the arms around the opponent’s neck and making them unconscious. Michael Bisping performed a rear naked choke on the reality TV star Steve-O until he fell unconscious.
In the video, Michael Bisping counts down to perform a rear naked choke on Steve-O. As it continued, the comedian fell unconscious. Alongside the duo, YouTuber ‘SteveWillDoIt‘ was getting choked by fellow middleweight fighter Marvin Vettori. Both comedians were choked until they fell unconscious for a performative stunt.
Steve-O’s friendship with Bisping is highlighted in the clip as they are willing to perform the stunt. Despite his retirement, Michael Bisping is still active in the MMA community. The fighter also has a YouTube channel where he uploads commentary-style videos about combat sports.
Michael Bisping displays his prosthetic eye for Steve-O
UFC veteran fighter Michael Bisping lost his vision in the right eye. In his fight against Vitor Belfort, a kick to the eye caused damage to the British fighter. Due to this, the fighter is currently wearing a prosthetic eye.
Michael Bisping went as far as to remove the prosthetic from his eye and showed it to comedian and friend Steve-O on his podcast. The fighter went on to reveal the struggles he faced with the prosthetic eye. He said, “I was so f****** self-conscious. That’s all I was trying to do, hide my eye.” The Brit goes on to explain the times when he had to fix his eye as it rolls down the center.
Michael Bisping’s eye injury is one of the most brutal injuries among other UFC injuries. The fighter avoided revealing the fact as the UFC would prevent him from competing to avoid further injuries. However, the Brit was successful at hiding and went on to become one of the best middleweight fighters of all time.
