“2 things you’ll never do”- Michael Bisping goes off on Jake Paul following a recent clash
Michael Bisping & Jake Paul
Michael Bisping is a pioneer of the sport. His accomplishments are unprecedented and unheard of. He became the first British UFC champion at UFC 199 when he was a heavy underdog going into it and he accomplished his success by possessing one eye. He wears a prosthetic lens to cover his eye lens. Clearly, the man is quite peculiar. He retired from the sport back in 2017.
That has not halted the former champion from indulging himself in the sport and taking digs at others fighters on social media. If you scroll through his Twitter account, one can observe that he is constantly having back and forth with his peers from the MMA community. Such as Jake Paul, Dillon Danis, Conor Mcgregor, and many others.

There were quite a few words exchanged between Bisping and Jake in the past. Back in 2020 and early 2021 when Jake Paul had won against Nate Robinson, he was on a concatenation calling out MMA fighters inside the boxing ring and having a bout against him. One of the names that were brought up by him was Michael Bisping, primarily because Bisping is a household name in the fight world.
Hearing upon this, Bisping was heavily interested in making a return and fighting Jake. The former champion also received a proposal for the same. In a podcast, Bisping stated, “He actually made an official offer and I took the bait and I started talking about it. What does that do? It just says to everybody, ‘ Jake Paul is looking for real fights’ but there was never a contract that came through.”
“There was an email but there was never a contract – it was an email that came to my manager and I talked about it and then the dialogue stopped. I was appalled at Jake Paul’s f***ing chess game… He played me,” Bisping concluded.
“I would knock you out worse than Hendo“- Jake Paul mounts scathing attacks on Michael Bisping
It’s been a while since their first encounter of words, Bisping has gained some respect over time for Jake Paul, and rightfully so. Whether or not you like him he has had a pretty impressive run in the last two years. Since then, Jake has won 3 bouts, against MMA legends such as Tryon Woodley and Ben Askren.
In an impressive manner that too. Although Bisping has gained respect for him his views on a match-up against him remain the same. Recently, Jake Paul created a Hitlist, which he does from time to time. In which, he states which the fighter wishes to fight in the near future.
One of them was none other than Michael Bisping. Michael wasn’t too pleased with that. He took to Twitter to state, “Come on Jake Paul,” Bisping wrote on social media. “You do know I’m about your size? Surely that excludes me from your ‘hit list’?”
Bisping here is making an intelligent diss at Jake. Jake is notorious to fight guys that are below his weight class and height/reach. To get an added advantage in the bout. Michael infers the fact that if he is the same size as him, that checks out his requirements of an opponent. Basically referring to that he is a level up for him. Jake clapped back at the former champion on Twitter by stating, “I would knock you out worse than Hendo. You’re an easy fight. But show me you can get licensed and I will show you $1M plus PPV”
A fight against these two is quite likely, the reason being the interest of wanting to compete against each other, the fact that Bisping is not tied to a contract with the UFC anymore and most importantly it’s a fight the fight might want to see as Bisping is level up for Jake Paul and chances of him losing would be relatively high. The majority of the people pay to see and that’s what Jake Paul wants.
