Michael Bisping is among the top personalities in the sport of MMA and he is also among the best middleweight in the history of UFC. Michael remained a top contender in the UFC for almost a decade and his longevity is the reason he is one of the best middleweight fighter. Bisping is also a UFC Hall of Famer and was inducted into the hall of fame in 2019. Bisping recently talked about the requirements to become a UFC commentator and jokingly highlight the path to become a UFC commentator.

Bisping had a long career at UFC and since his debut in 2006, Bisping fought his way up to the top of the division and competed with top fighters like Georges St. Pierre, Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort. Bisping became the UFC middleweight champion in 2016 and caused the biggest upset in the history of UFC by knocking out Luke Rockhold in the first round after accepting the fight on a 17 day notice.

With such brilliant performances, Michael has a professional record of 30 wins and 9 losses. Since his retirement from the sport in 2018, Michael has been working a ring side commentator in the UFC and recently a fan asked him about the qualifications to become a UFC commentator. Michael Bisping replied to the question and laid down the requirements to become a commentator at the UFC.

Michael Bisping recently replace Joe Rogan in the UFC 275 commentary team. UFC 275 was the first pay-per-view event in Singapore and as UFC traveled to a different country, Michael Bisping seems to be impressed by their cleanliness. UFC 275 featured top UFC fighters such as Glover Teixeira, Valentina Shevchenko and Joanna Jędrzejczyk.

The event was exciting, and it seems along with the event, Michael is already a fan of Singapore. Michael took to twitter and explain how eco-friendly Singapore is and he recommended the rest of the world to follow Singapore. Michael wrote: “Been here in Singapore for almost a week and I haven’t seen a single piece of plastic. Take note rest of the world.”

UFC 275 was the first UFC PPV event in an Asian country and the event might have encouraged fighters across the continent to train hard and get into the UFC. UFC also launched a tournament for Asian fighters during UFC 275 and the winner would be awarded a UFC contract. Initiatives like these encourage getting MMA into main stream and clear all the controversies that the sport has attracted.
