Michael Bisping has retired so many years ago now that he cannot see a bad shade thrown at him for any possible reason now, but Conor McGregor is an exceptional acquaintance in Bisping’s life, to say the least. Bisping, the UFC Hall of Famer was the first ever British UFC champion when he dethroned Luke Rockhold in their rematch in 2016 to become the new UFC middleweight champion. Bisping currently works as a sports analyst for BT Sports and a commentator for the UFC’s broadcasting team.
Bisping is also a successful Youtuber with 2 channels, one of them which is dedicated to a podcast that he co-hosts alongside UFC light-heavyweight Anthony Smith. In the latest episode, both Bisping and Smith talk about the death of famous rapper Coolio, the back and forth between Brandon Schaub and Dana White, Bo Nickal, Israel Adesanya and much more. In the midst of all this, Bisping also reacts to UFC megastar Conor McGregor taking a shot at the former by wildly claiming to be more successful in his acting tenure than Bisping.
“I was just, befuddled,” says Bisping. “I was like where’s that coming from, what’s all that about? I mean God bless him… he is doing his first acting thing and it’s a big deal… he’s all excited, he had his first beer, he’s doing a big show with Jake Gyllenhaal… why you have got to throw shade my way? I don’t get it… make sure you got your bodyguards around the next time you come and talk some sh*t you little f**k…” continued Bisping.
What Conor McGregor actually said marking a direct hit at Michael Bisping
Conor McGregor, the former and the first ever UFC’s simultaneous 2-division champion in history is going to make his acting debut by starring alongside Hollywood legend Jake Gyllenhaal in the remake of the popular movie from 1989, Road House. In a sudden rush of adrenaline marked by his excitement, McGregor took to Twitter to write about the grandeur of his acting debut.
“All these little twerps wanna be actors now. Little twerps, There’s Only One Mac Daddy. Bad to the bone but with a good heart. Action with Jake gyl or Rom com with Sarah Jessica. Bisping, member that show you were in. Ye me neither,” wrote McGregor in his now-deleted tweet.
Bisping has been associated with the acting industry on a shallow level but his break through into the world of acting goes back to as far as 2009. What did you make of McGregor taking a dig at Bisping’s acting career and what do you make of Bisping’s reaction? Where do you put Bisping and McGregor amongst the greatest MMA fighters to come out of the European region?
