UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping talked about the return of Conor McGregor. Recently, UFC CEO Dana White confirmed ongoing talks with McGregor in regards to his return. Bisping and Paulo Costa have also chimed in on the return of the Irishman.
Spending time on the sideline, McGregor teased fans about moving up to middleweight. This was during the TUF season opposite Michael Chandler. On the Believe You Me Podcast, hosts Bisping and Anthony Smith shut down the possibility of McGregor making his middleweight debut. Check out what Bisping had to say on the matter:
He's not gonna fight at 185, he's far too small. Just because he's all bulked up, on the good stuff...doesn't mean he can fight at 185...Michael Bisping on Conor McGregor
Even Smith felt that the Irishman was too small despite undoubted skill sets. Previously, Bisping had winked in that he would snap McGregor at 185lbs, despite lauding him. Paulo Costa had something else to say on the matter. He believed McGregor could fight at middleweight if he wanted to. This is what he wrote:
Look at this with correct eyes, he can and I will be there blinking...Paulo Costa via X
Such a proposition has riled up a few fans for the returning Costa and a subsequent “Borrachinha vs. Mac” square-off. One fan even tipped to “let Paulo and Conor both juice up and fight at 205“. Costa is pumping up for a return on the UFC 298 card.

“Borrachinha,” however, was not sitting subtlety on Chimaev’s reserved voicelessness. Not having heard from the rival for another go at each other, here’s what the fighter posted on X:
Costa also hinted at a double appearance, including the historic UFC 300 card. With him weighing in on a recent commentary of Michael Bisping about Conor McGregor as an 185lber, fans are thus hopeful for a face-off.
