“I am free the rest of the year” – Michael Chandler calls-out UFC stars as he confirms his availability for the rest of 2022

With his most recent win over Ferguson Michael Chandler has bettered his UFC record to 2-2
Michael Chandler gives an open challenge to other fighters who would want to fight the former Bellator champion. Chandler is currently one of the biggest rising stars of the UFC lightweight division. Chandler made his UFC debut against Dan Hooker at UFC 257 and immediately got a title opportunity against Charles Oliveira which he lost via TKO.
After that, he fought Justin Gaethje at UFC 268 and both fighters gave the fans a ‘ Fight of the Year’ contest. It was brutal and Chandler proved that he is worth the hype. However, he lost via unanimous decision.
After that war, Chandler got ready to take on another wild opponent like Tony Ferguson who was in a losing streak. The fight took place at UFC 274, Ferguson was doing great in the first round but in the second round,Chandler dropped ‘ El Cucuy’ with a nasty kick to the face. This performance absolutely cemented Chandler’s position as one of most entertaining fighters in the current generation.

Michael Chandler in search for a new opponent
Chandler recently took the Twitter to make an announcement for his fans, followers as well as competitors. In the tweet Chandler revealed that he is currently free for the next 6 months which is the rest of the year.
The fighter is currently looking for an opponent aa he is not scheduled to fight anybody soon. This message was intended to other lightweights who would like to take the opportunity and fight Chandler in the upcoming months.
” vacancy. I’m free the rest of the year…” wrote Chandler.
Chandler has become one of the fan favorites due to his past performances. The fighter has successfully gravitated many many new fans who will like to see him fight anytime soon. Top lightweights such as Beneil Dariush and Islam Makhachev are now focused on fighting Oliveira for the title. For them fighting, Chandler doesn’t make any sense. The only fight that has a possibility to happen is the fight between Chandler and Dustin Poirier as the Louisiana native is also not scheduled for any fight.
