Michael Chandler is ready to make things easy for Conor McGregor saving him from taking the trouble to cut weight all the way to lightweight. The electrifying lightweight fighter is ready to take on the Irishman in a welterweight bout.

Michael Chandler has been on every MMA fan’s good books after his recent performances in the UFC. The fighter has come out to put on a show every time in his UFC fights and his most recent outing impressed The Notorious One himself. Chandler took on UFC legend Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 and gave one of the best knockouts in the history of the promotion.

After flatlining Ferguson in the second round, Chandler also gave one of the best post-fight octagon interviews ever and used all his energy to call out Conor McGregor on the mic. In a recent video posted by Sport Bible, the fighter reiterates his call out and lays down his reasons for asking for a fight at welterweight. Chandler has been wanting a fight against McGregor ever since his introduction into the UFC and it seems like he could finally fulfill his dream.

“I do believe Conor McGregor has to come back and fight somebody. So why shouldn’t it be the most electrifying, most exciting guy? Not only in the lightweight division but on the UFC roster,” said Chandler, taking pride in being the most entertaining fighter in the UFC. Chandler has only had four fights in the UFC, which include, two knockout wins, one title fight, and one fight of the year.

“And as I said, I want to do it at 170. I want him at his biggest, baddest, and most dangerous. So come get you some. Holler at me on winter or the first of next year. Holler at me!” Conor too has been bulking up since his injury against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The Irishman is finally back on his feet and has begun training in the gym full-fledged. Conor too has admitted that a matchup against Chandler sparks an interest in him.
