“Already got it”- Michael Chandler reacts to Tony Ferguson being furious over his ‘Dana White privilege’

Tony Ferguson- Michael Chandler
UFC Lightweight Michael Chandler might have got what was coined by his next opponent as ‘Dana White privilege’ at the beginning of his career, however that is not the case anymore, at least according to him. Chandler is fighting this weekend in his fourth UFC fight against former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson at UFC 274, who Chandler was supposed to clash against in his debut fight back in 2020, but the deal fell apart due to some reasons.

Chandler, the former Bellator MMA lightweight champion is known for his wins over the likes of Dan Hooker, Eddie Alvarez, Benson Henderson, Patricky Pitbull, and many more. Chandler is a knockout artist with a strong wrestling pedigree that he mostly uses to keep his opponents standing for a cold knockout, but can also submit you when the time calls for it. His fight against Ferguson is a stylistically exciting fight on paper and we might see another fight of the year candidate delivered by Chandler’s presence.
Tony Ferguson vs Michael Chandler is going to be a banger of a fight at UFC 274

In a pre-fight media scrum for UFC 274, Chandler talked about many things including his fight mentality going against Ferguson, his future as a fighter, his aspirations to fight for the title for the second time and also fight UFC megastar Conor McGregor, and much more. In the beginning, Chandler reacts to Ferguson’s animosity towards the UFC and the latter’s dismissal of the famous phrase “Dana White privilege” as being humorous.
“I’m sorry Tony but that Dana White privilege line might be the funniest thing that has ever been said on a microphone in the context of Mixed martial arts,” said Chandler. “He is right, I am his boss’ [Dana’s] favourite fighter, Dana White privilege is not on the line here. I’ve already got it,“ he concludes.
