“MMA culture is F**KED UP,” Mickey Gall reacts to BRUTAL loss of teammate Kamaru Usman at UFC 278, calls out fans for pulling down fighters
Mickey Gall- Kamaru Usman
Mickey Gall is a strong fighter and more so, is a strong teammate as well who’s ready to defend his fellow teammates at Kill Cliff FC. Gall is 7-5 in his overall MMA career with 6 wins via submissions. Gall’s rise to fame came from him being a part of UFC’s Youtube exclusive segment titled Dana White: Looking For A Fight back in 2015 where UFC President Dana White used to look out to sign the best fighters from all over the local MMA promotions in the US alongside a couple of well-known faces in the MMA community.
In his first professional MMA fight in a local promotion, Gall was able to perform in front of White and after winning his MMA debut, he immediately called out WWE legend and AEW superstar Phil Brooks aka CM Punk who was pursuing a career in MMA. Gall was Punk’s debut fight in 2016 and eventually since then, has been fighting in the UFC. Gall has wins over the likes of Punk and Sage Northcutt. Currently, Gall is on a 2-fight skid with his last fight being a TKO loss to Mike Malott.
Mickey Gall gives props to Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards for their performance at UFC 278
In an interview with the Schmo, Gall talks about his future in MMA, the change of the name of Sanford MMA to Kill Cliff FC, Demetrious Johnson’s spectacular KO win over Adrian Moraes and much more. In the midst of all, Gall also talks about his teammate, former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s loss at UFC 278 costing the Nigerian Nightmare his belt against Leon Edwards via last round head kick knockout.
“Our culture’s a litte f**ked up,” says Gall “The MMA culture’s a little f**ked up. Like we throw shade on the strong man who’s out there doing the f**king sh*t, the man in the arena. Everyone should be giving love to Kamaru. They [Usman and Edwards] gonna do a rematch, throw it back… we’re gonna see what happens again but props to Leon and props to Kamaru. Those are the guys that got in there. Our culture needs to switch the sh*t up… they like to see a strong man go down make them feel a better about themselves but you know what I mean, he’s a beast, he’s one of the GOATS…” continues Gall.

What do you make of Gall’s thoughts about the so-called MMA culture? Do you agree with it? Who do you want to see Gall fight against next? Who do you want to see Usman fight next? In all fairness, a trilogy against the current champion Leon Edwards makes all the sense in the world but fighters like Jorge Masvidal, Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev are always possibilities that could jump in at any time given their due advantages of bringing eyes and money and being high calibre themselves as well.
