The Noche UFC main event fight between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko has got everyone talking. The controversy surrounding the 5th round happened due to Judge Mike Bell’s 10-8 score in favor of Alexa Grasso. Many stars gave their opinion on the matter. UFC superstar Conor McGregor previously congratulated both fighters over the bout and also called the draw a ‘fair’ decision.

In his recent Twitter post, Conor wrote, “Was round 1 where I dropped Nate once, and round 2 where I dropped Nate twice, scored 10-8s? They shoulda been, it was a cakewalk on points.” This tweet is a throwback to the infamous rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz at UFC 202. In this bout, Conor was able to dominate Diaz in the early to win the fight on the judges’ decision. UFC 202 was a strikefest in which Conor was able to outland his punches compared to Diaz.

Conor mentioned this event from the 10-8 scorecard on the Grasso vs. Shevchenko fight. The event at Noche UFC has created worldwide controversy, with many questioning Mike Bell‘s decision. Even the UFC president, Dana White was left shell-shocked after the reveal. Due to Bell’s decision, Grasso was able to retain her flyweight title. Shevchenko fell short after delivering a brilliant performance, a lot of her loss was directed towards the controversial 5th round.

However, Conor lined up with Bell’s decision on the matchup. The argument surrounded the fact that Shevchenko was able to dominate the first three minutes with her sharp jabs, whereas Grasso had some ground control time.
