“You racist motherf**ker,” Mike Perry issues a furious challenge for Sean Strickland, accuses him of trying to start a fight
Mike Perry- Sean Strickland
After beefing with Darren Till, former UFC welterweight and current bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry got a new partner on hostile terms to entertain the MMA fans and this time as well, it’s no joke but Perry seems to manage it with a rather cool mind. Perry, who last fought for the UFC in April 2021, has been experimenting lately with his combat abilities as he was seen winning a Triad Combat fight right after parting ways with the UFC, followed by which he then signed himself with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Perry won his bare-knuckle boxing debut against another former UFC fighter, particularly an Ultimate Fighter veteran in Julian Lane. Who will Perry fight next is not known as of now, but Perry seems to be happy with his payday lately after leaving the UFC. Perry in his MMA career won 11 of his 14 fights via knockouts and had significant victories over the likes of Mickey Gall, Alex Oliveira, Paul Felder, Jake Ellenberger, Danny Roberts and many more.
Mike Perry is down for a street fight against Sean Strickland next week since “Lord is resting on Sunday”
In a recent social media appearance as captured by MMA Journalist Alex Behunin, Perry is seen talking in a selfie video and says “Sean you racist motherf**ker. You come and afford to put hands on me. It’s Sunday bro! Your Lord is resting. But this week, I am down for you… and I am gonna put these hands on you. Let’s go, Sean Strickland! Let’s Go! Is that is your name, I don’t know, you might be Sean Strickland or Sean Sherk, or some of these other UFC guys.”
Perry is likely to talk about the current UFC middleweight #5 ranked welterweight Sean Strickland. Strickland is often known for his outspoken persona that sometimes becomes controversial for problematic statements on Twitter. Regardless, Strickland has been on a meteoric rise to the top in his UFC career as he is currently on a 6-fight winning streak. Strickland has won over the likes of Jack Hermansson, Uriah Hall, Nordine Taleb, Brandon Allen, Court McGee, Krzysztof Jotko, and many more.
What do you make of Perry’s callout of Strickland? Are you going to see this rivalry through the same lens from where we saw Perry’s back and forth against UFC middleweight Darren Till, where there was enmity but because of Till, it was a rather entertaining beef to watch in combat sports? Do you think Perry and Strickland will be champions in their respective sport in the near future?
