In the latest video on his YouTube channel, Israel Adesanya shared a vlog of his trip to Mexico. As such, he visited the ‘Cagers’ gym for a quick training session. He started with a treadmill walk and transitioned to cardio, bag work, and finally, a fierce mitt work alongside a trainer. He looked sharp and focused during the mitts session.

Once, Israel Adesanya coyly mentioned his return timeline to be 2027. However, he clarified the misconception and stated he would return sooner. As such, his recent training footage only affirmed his path to a quicker return. Also, ‘The Last Stylebender’ enjoyed his days in Mexico as he went golfing and horseriding by the beach.

In the absence of Israel Adesanya, Dricus Du Plessis acquired the middleweight title from Sean Strickland. With the history between them, the fans wanted to see the grudge match go down. Also, Du Plessis called out Adesanya soon after he won the title at UFC 297. This set the premise for their showdown sometime this year.
