“Scared Fighter” Nate Diaz calls Khabib Nurmagomedov a ‘bi*ch’ during intense Ariel Helwani interview
Nate called into question all of Nurmagomedov's accolades
Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov are two opposite spectrums of the UFC. While both men have the intense devotion to always be training in common, nothing else will ever align among them.
Khabib represents the new guard of the UFC, athletes who trained all their lives specifically to succeed in MMA, no distractions, and certainly no intoxicants. Diaz meanwhile represents the last of a dying species, who turned to fighting as a consequence of life, one’s who do not feel the need to represent the sport by themselves.
It comes as no surprise that the two men don’t hold each other in high regard. Diaz has called out Khabib and his teammates multiple times, labelling them to be “a bit*h” While Khabib when asked about his opinion of Diaz in one word, reduced him to “Marijuana Guy” In fact the two almost got into a brawl during a UFC PPV where both men’s entourage were part of the audience.

Nate Diaz questions Khabib Nurmagomedov’s HoF Induction
Today on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Diaz would further go on to share his true feelings about the former lightweight champion. Talking about Khamzat Chimaev and the UFC’s desire to have him beat Diaz in order to build his own brand, Diaz would allege that he and Khabib went through a similar ordeal.
“Why would they want me to fight (Khamzat) is the same reason they wanted me to fight Khabib, when he was brand ass new,” said Diaz alleging the UFC wanted to build Khabib based off Nate’s veteran status. He would then go on a rant solely targeting Nurmagomedov for the next minute and a half.
“Khabib is a fu**ing lil bitch too, who did he beat for the title” said Diaz as he questioned Khabib’s title reign with defenses over Poirier and Gaethje. “They’ve both been finished, over and over, the same way he beat them, that’s no good” said Diaz. He continued, “You’re a scared fighter, scared of fighting the whole time and now you’re in the hall of fame? “
Diaz then questioned what even was the legitimacy of the Hall Of Fame since he was in the promotion before that concept even existed. “I don’t want nothing to do with the Hall of Fame, the HoF is a joke too” said Nate as he vented out his frustrations with Khabib’s career
Nate Diaz has suggested that he wishes to part ways with the UFC in order to pursue multiple personal interests including Boxing and grappling. Diaz has reportedly been on his last legs due to the company ignoring his demands/requests.
