The return of Conor McGregor has been a hot topic in the combat sports world for a while now. The 22-6 lightweight is a former two-division titleholder. He last fought against Dustin Poirier. Their last faceoff saw “The Notorious” incur a leg injury that had to undergo surgery. The fighter is fully healed and aspiring to return soon. Co-contenders like Poirier remain ready to “shut up” his chances at UFC 300, once and for all. Other contending and expectant bouts include Michael Chandler.

A recent video from November has surfaced that shows a funny altercation between Chandler and Nate Diaz. Riding in an elevator, Diaz brings up a showdown between Chandler and The Irishman. The latter cues in that “allegedly” it’s happening soon. Check the whole interaction, and his statement, down below.

On the subject of the viability of a second-round KO to McGregor, Diaz, however, puts a stoppage. The video sees a funny altercation where the 22-13 Diaz puts a “don’t be involving” tag on the matter. Diaz is an old rival of McGregor, whom he last faced in 2016.

On the other hand, McGregor and Chandler both served as opposing judges for TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) Season 31. They both have been long slated as possible opponents of each other. Chandler even made multitudes of callouts and disses on McGregor’s 3-year octagon hiatus.

It has been a hot minute since Conor McGregor last competed inside the Octagon. Incurring a leg injury at UFC 264, the fighter had to undergo surgery on his tibia and fibula. The fighter had to undergo titanium insertion and subsequent recovery, which took a while. Now McGregor is all set to make his comeback soon. In a recent tweet, he even prompted to be “in” for UFC 300.

Attending the 15th annual World MMA Awards, McGregor’s manager, Audie Attar hinted at the same. Though there had been controversies otherwise, he told MMA Junkie that they are campaigning for a return at UFC 300. Check out more details down below.

At 22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC, MaGregor is to face Michael Chandler. But nothing is yet official. UFC 300 takes place on April 13 in Las Vegas.
