“Don’t know how to fight this guy” – Nate Diaz reveals how he is planning to fight against Tony Ferguson

Nate Diaz doesn’t care who he is fighting as the fighter prepares for everybody. The UFC 279 fight card went through a serious shake-up which was the result of some unexpected turn of events. This whole weekend has been a huge mess for the UFC. It all started when the UFC 279 presser got abruptly cancelled due to multiple backstage altercations.
Later, during the official weigh-ins, Khamzat Chimaev failed to make the weight and missed the mark by 7 pounds. Reportedly the ‘Borz’ had problems regarding cutting the weight. While talking with ESPN, Dana White explained what happened with Chimaev.
“If you saw him yesterday, he was very lean already and he should have come in on weight,” said White. “He started to cut weight and he started locking up and cramping and all the things that are from a bad cut. Unlike 10 years ago, we send in a doctor and they determine whether he will keep cutting weight and the doctor told him he shouldn’t.”
This resulted in a change in fights as Diaz took on Tony Ferguson and Chimaev is now set to fight Kevin Holland.

After all that confusion and rearrangements l, Diaz finally spoke to ESPN MMA‘s reporter, Megan Olivia about his opinions on his new opponent.
Diaz mentioned that everything is disordered and he is irritated by it as he was supposed to fight Chimaev. Diaz revealed that he trained for something else and doesn’t know how to fight Ferguson at the last moment. However, Diaz was confident about his training as the fighter claimed that he trains for everybody. Diaz is instead happy that he didn’t fight Chimaev which was initially planned by UFC. He said:
“It’s all a mess, it’s irritating. I trained for Khamzat, I don’t even know how to fight this guy. But it don’t matter anyway cause I train for everybody, always, anyway. I don’t train for fights anymore, I just train to fight anybody, always ready for war. So, It’s for sure makes me happy though that I’m not supporting the bs* they(UFC) been trying to push on me the whole time.”
Diaz then revealed that he doesn’t want to fight Chimaev inside the octagon but will take the Russian anywhere else.
“I will never fight him in here(UFC Octagon) but I’ll fight him right now if I could f* find his ba. “
Despite everything that happened, the fight fans are now more excited for the Ferguson vs Nate fight. Both the OGs of UFC will share the octagon, a fight that was a long time coming.
