Recently, the fighter was involved in a scuffle outside the ‘Misfits Boxing 6’ event. The dispute was captured on camera by an attendee of the event. The Stockton native is captured choking out one of the bystanders who tried to stop him from getting into a fight. The bystander quickly fell unconscious due to Nate’s violent act.
Upon witnessing the footage, the New Orleans police department issued an arrest warrant for Nate Diaz for second-degree battery. The news had fans in distress. They took to social media platforms to defend the fighter for his ‘self-defense.’ It was later revealed that Diaz had turned himself in to the police department. The UFC fighter looks to present the evidence to the officials. Nate Diaz’s representative, Zach Rosenfield, disclosed this information.
“Nate voluntarily turned himself into the New Orleans Police Department this morning approximately at 7:10 AM CT. We continue to look forward to presenting all the evidence and videos that show Nate was acting in self-defense,” tweeted MMA journalist Ariel Helwani. This came as a surprise to fight fans. They are currently longing for the Stockton fighter to not be taken into custody.

The man turned out to be a TikTok star and Logan Paul lookalike Rodney Peterson. Following the scuffle, Peterson took to social media to unveil his injuries. Nonetheless, the New Orleans police department issued an arrest warrant for the UFC superstar for second-degree battery.
Following the arrest warrant, it was revealed that Nate Diaz had turned himself in to the police department. Fans of the fighter are showing their support on Twitter.
