Jimmy Butler recently flaunted his new emo-style look. The Miami Heat Forward changed his style after they traded Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks. Butler floating the look enabled UFC welterweight contender Geoff Neal to do the same as well.

Geoff Neal flaunted his own emo-look, deriving inspiration from Miami Heat forward, Jimmy Butler. Neal showed his new style on Instagram with the caption, “Shout out to @jimmybutler for giving me the confidence to express myself! Please refer to me now as Geoff “Handz of Feel” Neal #emo #itwasneveraphase.” The ranked welterweight gave props to Butler and even altered his nickname to address his new style. Neal’s nickname is “Hands of Steel.” Neal’s change surprised the fans. One fan notably commented, “Shavkat took away his masculinity.” This was in reference to Shavkat Rakhmonov defeating Neal at UFC 285.

Neal most recently fought Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 285. At UFC 285, Neal missed weight by a big margin and Rakhmonov submitted him in the third round, making it an arduous event for him. Prior to the loss, Neal had knocked out Vicente Luque in the co-main event of UFC on ESPN 40. Geoff Neal is often considered one of the premier boxers in the UFC.

The win over Neal kept Rakhmonov’s 100 percent finishing record intact. The Kazhakstani fighter is undefeated and has finished all his opponents. He is currently on 5 fight unbeaten streak inside the UFC. He will be fighting Stephen Thompson in the final pay-per-view of 2023 at UFC 296.

Fans react to Geoff Neal, flaunting emo look, taking inspiration from Jimmy Butler

Geoff Neal, sporting the new look, did not go unnoticed by the fans. Jimmy Butler is known to change his style whenever he feels. However, fans did not expect Geoff Neal to follow in the footsteps of the NBA superstar. Butler said that his new look is his emotional phase, which is something that Neal said he is in right now.
