Diaz is a UFC veteran and has shown impressive performances throughout his UFC journey. After his loss against Robbie Lawler, it was unclear whether Nick will return to the Octagon but Nick recently revealed that he will certainly return to the octagon.

Nick Diaz has fought the best fighters like Anderson Silva, B. J. Penn and Goerges St. Pierre in his prime, but the 38-year-old fighter finds it difficult to still fight young guys in the division. In his last match against Robbie Lawler, Nick looked terrible and many speculate the fighter was only fighting to earn money. Nick Diaz has a professional record of 26 wins and 10 losses.

Despite his last fight, Nick Diaz has expressed his desire to fight for the welterweight title against Kamaru Usman. Kamaru is currently the pound-for-pound best fighter in the UFC and Nick says that fighting Kamaru is what he is looking forward to instead of fighting young guys in the division.

In his recent interview with TMZ Sports, Nick Diaz said: ‘I don’t need to go in there and get my ass whooped by one of them young guys anyway, and it’s not that I won’t win. It’s just I’m not motivated. I want to fight for the title. I don’t want to do all this–I’m 38 years old. I think I’ll beat him.’

Nick was in his worst form ever during the fight. The fight ended in three rounds, with Nick losing the fight via TKO.

Usman has been undefeated since 2013 and is in his best form ever. Fans believe a fight between Nick and Usman will only tarnish Nick’s legacy and believes this is not a good matchup for Nick.
