The flyweight contest between Ode Osbourne (10-4-0) and Zarrukh Adashev (4-3-0) was booked to take place on the main card of UFC Vegas 56. Both of them came off from wins, and they were planning on staying in the win column. It was a much-anticipated fight, and fans were tuned in for this one.
Round 1- Ode and Zarrukh acquired the center of the octagon, but they were a little hesitant to engage. Ode attempted a heavy leg kick, but Zarrukh pulled back just in time to avoid any unnecessary damage. Ode and Zarrukh got a little closer, and Zarrukh attempted a big shot, Ode moved his hand and landed an overhand punch to drop him to the ground.
Ode followed him to the ground and finished the fight with a barrage of punches.
