The UFC released a list of the top 30 walkouts on their Twitter page. It featured someone the fans did not expect to make an appearance.

The walkouts remain an integral part of the combat sports industry. Boxing, pro wrestling, and MMA have featured some of the best walkouts in history. Israel Adesanya, Conor McGregor, and Brock Lesnar have vowed fans with their walkouts throughout the history of the UFC. Recently, MMA Junkie compiled a list of the Top 30 Walkouts in the history of the UFC. It featured CM Punk of all people on the list.
CM Punk landed at the No. 25 spot on the list. He made his MMA debut at the UFC 203 PPV. He walked out to his iconic song in the WWE. Punk faced Mickey Gall at the PPV but lost in less than three minutes. UFC 203 featured the heavyweight title clash between champion Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem. The event was held in the home state of Miocic in Cleveland, Ohio. Stipe defeated Overeem via knockout in the first round.
Fans found it surprising to see CM Punk’s walkout on the list due to his unsuccessful stint in the UFC. Punk lost both his bouts in the company and the second had an embarrassing outcome than the first. Since his unsuccessful time in the UFC, Punk returned to pro wrestling and signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling. He remains a major attraction in the sport of wrestling despite his long absence after he departed from the WWE.
The other top walkouts featured the Gracie family walkout at the first UFC event, where Royce and his family entered together. Mike Perry, Paddy Pimblett, Alex Pereira, Daniel Cormier, and Jon Jones occupied the list in the rankings from 20-30.
Conor McGregor takes the top spot in the UFC’s all-time walkout
Irish superstar Conor McGregor remains the most important personality in combat sports. He brought worldwide attention to the sport of MMA during the mid-2010s. His run as a dangerous featherweight fighter astonished fans worldwide. Hence, seeing him take the top spot on UFC’s walkout list was not surprising.
Sinead O’Connor and McGregor teamed up for the Irishman’s fight at UFC 189. It was the first time that McGregor competed for the title. It was also the first time McGregor became the star attraction of a PPV card.
At UFC 189, McGregor fought Chad Mendes for the interim-featherweight title. After facing adversity with Mendes’s wrestling, McGregor defeated the American fighter via TKO in the second round. It was a moment to remember for the UFC fans.
