“Won’t be fighting in The O2 again”- Paddy Pimblett isn’t interested in fighting on his home turf anymore
Paddy Pimblett
Paddy Pimblett is currently one of the biggest stars in the UFC and is regularly on a rise. The Brit made his promotional debut in 2021 against Luigi Vendramini and won the fight. After that, the fighter attracted enormous attention towards him.
In his second bout which was recently at UFC Fight Night 204 in London, ‘Baddy’ was a major attraction and it helped UFC to make history in the O2 Arena by fully selling it out. After a rough start, he choked out Kazula Vargas in the first round of their contest, and his celebration was amazing, to say the least. In his third bout at UFC London, he choked out Jordan Leavitt to bring the crowd to their feet.
Paddy has been pretty vocal about his contract with the UFC, and he openly claimed that he won’t fight anyone from the top 10 without securing a better contract first. He recently revealed that he has revised his contract with the UFC, and he’s earning some good money now.

Talking about his new contract his coach said, “Everybody goes into the UFC on a standard contract. There’s no difference what you do, you have to go and prove yourself. I can categorically tell you now that contract’s gone, that’s gone, he’s on fu**ing big money now. It is what it is, but I’m just happy for him.”
Paddy wants to become the biggest superstar this sport has ever seen, and for that, he’d gladly give up fighting on his home turf. Talking about his future, he said, “I know I won’t be fighting in The O2 again. It’s too small.”
Paddy added, “We will do Anfield. I promise you now. Dana said he won’t do Anfield, but he also said women will never fight in the UFC, and Ronda Rousey came along. He said he won’t do a stadium in the U.K., but the Baddy’s come along, so he will.”
