Paddy Pimblett and Sean O’Malley are two of the most popular fighters on the current UFC roster. Both the fighters joined UFC recently and have succeeded to make huge names for themselves. O’Malley in the last three years has built his brand and is one of the most talked about fighters.
O’Malley also has proved his skills inside the octagon by knocking out opponents multiple times. The fighter has already made an amazing highlight reel for his initial career. Similarly, Pimblett who made his debut last year and managed to gather popularity within just two octagon appearances. His press conferences, impressive confidence and Liverpool accent while trash talking surely helped him to stand out.
Both the fighters are expected to become huge pay-per-view stars in the upcoming future and both share a mutual respect for each other.
In a recent interview with The Schmo, O’Malley opened up about his views on Pimblett’s rise to stardom in a very short period. He said :
“Paddy is doing a great job of marketing himself. He’s got two fights, two finishes. I think he’s doing a great job. I’ve had eight fights, nine fights, I don’t remember. I’ve had a lot more fights and he’s got a good following already, so I think he’s doing a good job.We’re buds because he’s raided me on Twitch and I’ve hosted him on Twitch, so, we’re buds I guess. That’s just how that works.”

Pimblett and O’Malley ran into each other ahead of the upcoming UFC London event inside the O2 Arena.
Pimblett shared a video on his official Instagram account in which both the friends can be seen greeting each other and having a great conversation. In the clip, ‘Suga’ asked Paddy how he loses all that weight before his fight and commended his discipline in training.
O’Malley also hilariously tried to do the Liverpool accent of Pimblett and asked him about the fight. He said :
“How the f* Did you lose all that weight? That’s some discipline there. What round are you f**** finishing him in, eh? You put him down in the first or in the second. ” To which Pimblett confidently replied, ” first lad, he doesn’t get out of the first, promise ya. ”
Pimblett has a huge momentum going into the fight against Leavitt and fighting in front of his home crowd will also give him extra motivation. On the other hand, Leavitt is in a two fight win streak and will like to continue this in the upcoming fight. Nevertheless, it would be an amazing show for the fans.
