Rising star Paddy Pimblett has a deep admiration for his idols. Recently, he shared a fanboy moment on social media when he encountered an old interaction with one of his sports idols. Pimblett and tennis legend Roger Federer had a wholesome interaction on social media that made Pimbitt emotional.

Paddy Pimblett is one of the most entertaining stars on the UFC roster. He has a huge fan following due to his personality and humor. The fighter from Liverpool has not lost any of his fights since moving from Cage Warriors to the UFC. However, he is currently sidelined because of his ankle injury, which prevents him from competing in fights. In the meantime, he got a message from the tennis legend, who motivated him to get through the injury.

Pimblett had left a comment on the retirement post where he expressed his sadness about being unable to watch Federer play in person. He wrote that it was a sad day for the tennis world. Paddy emotionally wrote, “it’s a sad day for the tennis world. devastated never got to watch him play in person.” However, he only recently found out that Federer had responded to his comment. The 41-year-old tennis icon wished Pimblett all the best.

After finding Federer’s response, Pimblett was extremely happy and shared a picture on his Instagram story. He could not believe that one of the greatest tennis players and his sports idol had replied to him. Pimblett expressed his excitement by saying he was starstruck by Roger Federer’s comment. With excitement, Pimblett wrote, “Can’t believe only just seen the greatest tennis player and one of my sporting idols commented back to me. starstruck there @rogerfederer.”
