Jordan Leavitt- Paddy Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett is looking forward desperately to going head hunting as he is about to compete in his third UFC bout. This will be Pimblett’s second UFC bout inside the O2 Arena, therefore in his home country and in front of his home crowd. Pimblett is so far 2-0 in the UFC and is the fastest rising prospect amongst the current UFC roster. Pimblett scores first-round finishes in both of his fights.

Pimblett is now fighting another upcoming prospect in Jordan Leavitt. Leavitt is 10-1 in his overall MMA career with 7 finishes. Leavitt made his major break in the UFC via Dana White Contender Series 2020. So far Leavitt is 4-1 in the UFC. Both Pimblett and Leavitt are grappling specialists but Pimblett has shown he has heavy hands as well if the fight comes to stand up and that’s what the latter is intended to go for.

Pimblett talks about his fight against Leavitt and after the matchup is discussed, Pimblett also believes that he has a huge advantage in psychological warfare against Leavitt.

“I know what’s going on O2 this weekend,” says Pimblett “Last time I got a submission against a striker and I know this time I am going to get a knockout against a grappler. I’ll be sorely disappointed in myself if he gets out the first round, I really will,” concludes Pimblett.
