Paul Craig appeared on Michael Bisping’s Tales from the Octagon show in December 2023. It was the second iteration of the show where Bisping discussed stories from his fighting career. Unlike the first edition, Bisping invited Tom Aspinall and Scottish fighter Paul Craig to share their experience. As such, Craig attempted a backflip during the show and failed miserably.

Tom Aspinall recently shared behind-the-scenes footage of Michael Bisping’s Tales from the Octagon show. As such, it featured Aspinall asking Paul Craig whether he would do a backflip on the show. Craig responded his jeans were tight and sounded like he wouldn’t. Likewise, Aspinall mentioned an instance of Craig’s previous backflip and said he shouldn’t try that again. However, Craig went for it on stage with the crowd alongside Bisping, echoing a countdown. But he failed it, resulting in a hilarious clip of failures.

The tale from the octagon show happened twice this year, once in London at the O2 and once in Manchester at the O2 Apollo. This incident of Paul Craig’s failed backflip happened in front of a filled O2 Apollo crowd. Although it was embarrassing for Craig, he dusted himself off to showcase his character. As such, the event was a success, with the trio sharing their experience of fighting in the cage.

Paul Craig recently fought Brendon Allen in a middleweight clash in November 2023. This was only his second bout at middleweight after having a turbulent career at light-heavyweight. Although he won his first 185-pound fight, he lost to Allen by submission.

Fans react to Paul Craig’s failed backflip

Michael Bisping’s Tales from the Octagon show went down at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on December 16, 2023. The show featured UFC fighters Paul Craig and Tom Aspinall as guest speakers. Craig wanted to show off his acrobatic skills during a segment and attempted a backflip. The crowd cheered him on but was disappointed as he crashed onto the stage.

Paul Craig failed the backflip miserably after having the crows hyped up for it. Earlier, backstage, Tom Aspinall warned him of failing a backflip, and he even tended to excuse himself as he wore tight jeans. But, in the heat of the moment, he went for it but failed. Fight fans laughed at the moment and trolled the Scottish fighter. However, a few were concerned whether Paul Craig was injured as much as he suffered no major injuries. Craig, known for his intense faceoffs, would also be remembered for this incident.
