Fellow former UFC fighters Luke Rockhold and Mike Perry recently went head to head against each other at BKFC 41. Luke Rockhold underwent a brutal beatdown and Mike Perry emerged as the winner. Former rival Paulo Costa has a laugh at Rockhold’s defeat.

Paulo Costa is famous for his generative memes on Twitter. Usually targeting fellow UFC rivals, this time he aimed at former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold. Rockhold who was making his debut fight against Mike Perry suffered his first loss by stoppage after a brutal beatdown. Rockhold ended up losing not only the fight but also a tooth. Costa’s trolling on Twitter caught attention very quickly. Titling the “Toothless gang“, Paulo Costa uploaded three pictures that included Colby Covington and Luke Rockhold’s pictures after they broke their teeth.

In his first match at BKFC 41 in April, Luke Rockhold suffered a crushing loss. Even though Rockhold put up an admirable performance, Mike Perry who has been in the promotion for a longer time and has more experience, prevailed. The match was over in round two when Rockhold informed the referee that he wouldn’t be able to continue because he broke his tooth. As a result, Mike Perry won the fight via TKO. Meanwhile, Colby Covington lost his tooth in his fight against Jorge Masvidal in Miami. This was enough material for Paulo Costa who took to Twitter to express his happiness.

In the “Toothless gang” post, Costa added the photos of Rockhold and Covington’s broken teeth along with a picture of himself with scribbling over his teeth. Costa also later adds Daniel Cormier in a later tweet titled, “Forgot this mtfk.”

Finally, Paulo Costa updates the audience on the progress of his conflict with Khamzat Chimaev. He says that they are engaging in an arrangement. Fans may soon be able to see the two rivals face-to-face in the octagon.

Both Paulo Costa and Khamzat Chimaev are ready to fight each other, but the weight posed as an issue. Paulo Costa last fought in the light heavyweight division, while Khamzat Chimaev has moved on to the welterweight division. Thus both of them would agree on a leeway to fight in the middleweight division.

“I think this fight’s going to happen…before [October], like in June.” This is what Paulo Costa said when asked about the Chimaev fight. Paulo Costa revealed on The MMA hour that he is in conversation with the UFC to make the fight happen. Costa last fought against Luke Rockhold back in August of 2022.
