Paulo Costa alleged he uses steroids hence knowing how to vaccinate himself
Paulo Costa has made Twitter his forever home. The fighter is known to degrade his fans, promote cryptocurrency, shitpost things he finds on the internet, and now provide statements on his arrest allegations all via the app. His tweets have gained a reputation for being objectively funny while mostly in poor taste, which has regardless led to him growing a loyal fanbase.
Costa, was accused of creating delays in signing the contract by his targetted opponent and former middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold. According to Rockhold, Costa has issues regarding the weight limit for the middleweight fight and the amount he could be penalized if he happened to miss weight. Recently new broke about incidents that could potentially put the bout targetted for UFC 277 in limbo.
Earlier today Paulo Costa was alleged of striking a nurse using his elbow as a result of him not wanting to be vaccinated but still wanting to have his vaccination certificate. The alleged altercation then led to Costa being taken under police custody. The alleged incident took place at a shopping center in Contagem, Brazil in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. Costa and all parties involved were taken to the police station nearby.

Many fans taunted Costa on tweets he put up shortly after news of the incident broke. Costa only replied to one fan who asked him to show his vaccine certificate, with the middleweight saying, “lol I haven’t” Now Costa has again shifted the goal post in response to his alleged altercation allegations.
Costa posted two photos, one of an arm being self-injected and the other of a turinabol package. The caption read, “I know how to do my fu*k(ing) self vaccination” alluding to the fact that the entire altercation started as a result of Costa willingly entering a vaccination center and refusing to get the dose once his certificate was filled up. Inviting everyone who wanted to join him he continued, “If you want to do come and bring your card please”
It was alleged that when Costa grabbed the vaccination card and started walking away is what prompted the nurses to hold him back, a nurse getting struck by Costa’s elbow in the aftermath. The nurse did not suffer any injuries but had swollen lips. It is unclear if this alleged arrest will hinder the timeline of his scheduled bout against Luke Rockhold.
