Paddy Pimblett and Paulo Costa seem to be brewing a friendship as the two fighters bond over weight-cut issues. The Liverpool fighter has a few words of encouragement for his fighter friend in Brazil as he looks in amazing shape ahead of his fight against Luke Rockhold.

Pimblett has been receiving a lot of criticism for ballooning to 200 lbs during his off-season. A lot of experts have criticized the Liverpool fighter for his unhealthy eating habits. However, Paddy has always been confident in his body and promised he will not miss weight for his upcoming lightweight bout against Jordan Leavitt at UFC London on July 23rd.

Paddy weighed in for the fight, and he made the weight comfortably. He flashed his butt cheek after stepping down from the scale, he sent a strong message to his haters. After this many apologized for doubting the ‘Scouser,’ Paddy’s friend Paulo also sent a word of encouragement for Liverpool’s own.

Costa is no stranger to weight cut issues. His previous saga at the weight scale sure did turn a lot of eyes his way leading up to the upcoming fight against former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold.

One-time title contender Costa has been seeking weight cut tips from his new lightweight friend from Liverpool, Paddy Pimblett. Costa has always been very playful and engaging on his social media platforms and one such interaction turned out to be the beginning of an interesting friendship.

After Paddy weighed in, Paulo tweeted, “The man, the hero made it. I’m following my diet plan as well, master of weight.”

Paddy replied by writing, “You got this Paulo big man 185 incoming and should be there to support my Brazillian brother.”
