“They said I elbowed a woman”- Paulo Costa shares images to discredit the nurse he attacked

Paulo Costa and Brazilian nurse
Paulo Costa recently made headlines after getting accused of hitting a nurse over an incident related to a vaccination card. Multiple Brazilian news outlets published about this matter and it got a lot of attention.
According to the reports, Costa showed up at the vaccination centre and told the security guard that he had already been vaccinated but had no paperwork about it. But the nurse refused to give Costa the vaccination card and the fighter decided to leave. The nurse chased Costa and held him by the arm. During that moment, Costa hit his elbow on the nurse’s mouth.
The victim, while speaking to local radio Itatiaia, revealed that when Costa was trying to leave ” and saw I was after him…he threw an elbow that hit my mouth.” Said the nurse.
After that Costa shared a video of him on his official YouTube channel where the fighter told his side of the story in Portuguese. He said:
“I didn’t come here to say smooth words to try to smooth something or try to apologize. No, nothing like that. I came here to clear this fact. I’m putting my face out here because I have nothing be fear. I came here to talk to you guys because I have an image, and this image needs to be taken care her…facts and proof that this accusation is false, that it was an attempt to harm me.”

Paulo Costa takes a funny dig at the nurse on Twitter
Recently Paulo Costa also made a Twitter post sharing a picture of the nurse’s mouth after getting hit by the elbow.
In the picture, there were no signs of any severe injury and everything was looking fine. Costa explained in the caption that everybody accused him of hitting the female nurse but in these pictures, it is clear that it’s a false narrative.

The UFC Middleweight title contender also commented under that tweet sarcastically saying indeed the victim is looking trustworthy. He Wrote :
” Looks truest.”
There has not been much lead regarding the incident but everybody is giving speculations about what might be the truth. Costa is looking confident that he has not done anything wrong. Only time will tell what’s the truth behind this whole matter.
