“Bare-knuckle preferably,” Paulo Costa vouches for a fight between Darren Till and Ariel Helwani after recent Twitter back and forth

Ariel Helwan-Paulo Costa- Darren Till

Looks like Paulo Costa is having the most fun out of anyone in the MMA community after witnessing the back and forth on Twitter between Darren Till and Ariel Helwani. Costa, a former title challenger at 185 lbs, is fighting back again for the first time in almost 10 months and hopefully, he is expected to make weight this time unlike the last time against Marvin Vettori where the fight had to move up to a weight class due to Costa’s inability to make middleweight.

If Costa makes weight come August 20, 2022, when he will fight former UFC middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold, at UFC 278, then it will be Costa’s return to the middleweight in almost 2 years. Costa is more active as a Twitter user for his incredibly funny means but occasionally posts some serious training clips as well. Costa was 13-0 undefeated in his prime before having back-to-back losses against current champion Israel Adesanya and former title challenger Marvin Vettori.

Recently on Twitter, famous MMA journalist Ariel Helwani was appreciating his favourite restaurant in his home city in Montreal when suddenly UFC middleweight Darren Till showed up in the comments section calling Helwani as the “worst thing to happen to MMA.” Helwani ended up the back and forth having the upper hand and calling out Till for having only one win since 2018, the same number of wins as Bellator MMA middleweight and internet troll, Dillon Danis.

Costa reacted to the whole beef and said whilst posting the screenshots on Twitter “I really would like to see this beef ending in a fight. Bare knuckle preferably.

What do you make of Costa hilariously putting the idea of Till and Helwani in a bare-knuckle fight? Are you in to buy your tickets for any kind of a crazy matchup for combat between a sports journalist and an athlete? Do you think the Twitter beef between Till and Helwani is real or is it just an exchange of words in the spirit of humour?
