“Neal’s left hand is crispy” – Pros react to Geoff Neal knocking out Vicente Luque at UFC Vegas 59

Vicente Luque vs Geoff Neal
Geoff Neal and Vicente Luque fought each other inside the UFC APEX Facility and the fight was mostly one-sided. Right from the beginning, Neal came forward intending to end the fight as soon as possible. In the very first round, Neal showed that he means serious business as he kept unloading heavy shots at Luque from various angles. At the end of the first round, Luque’s face was full of blood.
In the second round, Luque tried to turn the tables and started increasing the volume of his shots. However, it had no impact on Neal as he responded with multiple combinations which were pretty accurate. In the third round, Neal was overpowering Luque and decided to go for the finish with a huge left which wobbled Luque. Then Neal connected several continuous uppercuts which finally dropped Luque on the canvas.
“I’ve been looking forward to fighting Luque or somebody like Luque,” Neal said in the post-fight interview. “He brought the dog out of me. I get a tendency to take off the second round. That’s just dumb. I came back in the third round and took him out….Honestly, I’ve been looking at Gilbert Burns. I want him next.”

After Geoff Neal called out Gilbert Burns for a fight, the Brazilian replied through a tweet. Burns appreciated Neal’s call out and revealed if he doesn’t fight with Jorge Masvidal then there is a chance.
“Finally someone called me out! About time! Congrats @handzofsteelmma ✊?✊? Let’s see if Jorge will show up! Otherwise, we might dance ??♂️??♂️ #UFCVegas59.“
Even though the fight was extremely one-sided, it was entertaining to see Neal fight the way he did. On the other hand, Luque’s performance was also shocking for many pros who shared their thoughts on Twitter.
UFC bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling enjoyed the fight and commended Neal’s performance through a tweet.
“Neal fighting like a man possessed tonight! He can’t miss that left hand! #UFCVegas59.”
Justin Gaethje who is himself is known for his violent way of fighting seems to like the way Neal destroyed Luque in the fight. He wrote :
“That was impressive as hell @handzofsteelmma.”
UFC featherweight prospect, Lerone Murphy also credited Neal for his amazing fight and win. He wrote :
“Big finish for neal. Hands of steel!!!.”
UFC welterweight contender, Neil Magny also liked the fight and in his tweet tagged Neal a d called him a beast.
“Damn @handzofsteelmma is a f***ing beast!”
Throughout the fight, Neal hit Luque with a lot of left strikes which were devastating and did a lot of damage. Michael Chandler noticed that and mentioned that Neal’s left hand is amazing.
“Goodness…Neal’s left hand is C R I S P Y,” wrote Chandler
