“You are not mad at Joe Rogan for saying n***a”- Rampage Jackson provides a unique take on Rogan’s N-word controversy

Rampage Jackson and Joe Rogan

UFC commentator and analyst, Joe Rogan runs a very successful podcast by the name of The Joe Rogan Experience. JRE is well known for all sorts of people coming over and discussing the most bizarre issues with absolutely no filter at all.

Rogan was swamped by criticism after he criticized the effectiveness of the government-approved Coronavirus vaccine. The entire medical community went after him, and many doctors from all around the world signed an open letter to remove his content from the platform. Joe issued a public apology for his statement, and everything was about to cool down.

Rogan thought he was off the hook, but a video of him saying the N-word surfaced online, and singer India Arie once again started the ‘cancel Joe Rogan’ moment.

Rogan said the video is really old, and he realizes he made a huge mistake, he’s developed as a person now, and he apologized for hurting anyone’s sentiment.

Many from the MMA community rallied behind Rogan and said people are just trying to cancel him for being real. His long-time friend, and former UFC contender, Rampage Jackson weighed in on the whole controversy, and his take is pretty unique, to say the least.

Talking to The Schmo, he said people get mad at stupid stuff, and he recalled the time when his Instagram account got banned, he said, “I come in on one of my friend’s posts. It was something funny and I made a joke. One guy didn’t like my joke and he said some b**t to me. And I was like, ‘It’s a f*****g joke’ and I said, ‘You sound like a b***h.’ And all the curse words that I said, I spelled it wrong and my page immediately got banned.”

I know Joe. I’ve met him several times. And based on the way he was saying it, there was no problem with the way he was saying it.”
