Mark Zuckerberg reveals to Joe Rogan how he got into MMA

In a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Zuckerberg revealed that he first became interested in mixed martial arts during the COVID-19 pandemic. He currently trains with Dave Camarillo of Gorilla Jiu Jitsu. The primal and intense nature of MMA, according to Zuckerberg, appeals to him. He has also been successful in persuading several friends to start training in MMA.
Zuckerberg said, “From the very first session that I did, like five minutes in, I was like, ‘Where has this been my whole life?’… Alright, my mom made me do three varsity sports and my life took a wrong turn when I chose to do fencing competitively instead of wrestling in high school or something.”
No one would initially associate Mark Zuckerberg with the UFC or mixed martial arts. Zuckerberg really seems to be a reasonably excellent boxer, proving that appearances are not always what they seem.
