Jake Shields is a renowned mixed martial artist in the combat world. Shields has held multiple welterweight world championships in different combat organizations. His MMA record consists of an impressive 31 wins, nine losses, and one draw. In a recent controversy involving rapper Eminem and Republican Vivek Ramaswamy, Shields had an interesting take on the whole situation.
Eminem has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Republican Vivek Ramaswamy regarding the use of the song ‘Lose Yourself’ in the candidate’s campaign. In August, Ramaswamy rapped some of the lyrics from the song during his appearance at the Iowa State Fair. A number of clips from his performance went on the internet. Due to this, a huge number of fans caught the eye of Ramaswamy’s campaign.
This definitely made him one of the most influential candidates. Eminem didn’t sit back, and he sent Ramaswamy a cease and desist letter, which can cause problems for the candidate if breached. Jake Shields broke his silence on the whole drama, saying, “Eminem has turned into such a dork that he makes Vivek look cool.”
Shields has never held back from speaking his mind on many controversial situations. His take on Andrew Tate and Greta Thunberg’s debate also received a lot of backlash. The American mixed martial artist has also recently challenged a transgender MMA fighter for a fight in the octagon.

Eminem shares a story of his sparring session with a 14-year-old

Eminem is known to be a big fan of combat sports. The rapper has multiple acquaintances from the MMA and boxing world. In a podcast with legendary boxer Mike Tyson, Eminem revealed a story of his sparring session with a 14-year-old boy.
Eminem said that he was part of a boxing camp with Emanuel Steward. One day, Steward bought a boxer from Kronk to face Eminem in the match. The rapper later described this fight as one of the most eye-opening moments in his career regarding boxing. Eminem spoke about how he was dominated for all 3 rounds by his opponent.
Later, after enquiring about the boxer’s age, Eminem found out that he lost against a 14-year-old. This experience gave the rapper an insight into the world of boxing. But still, at 50 years old, Eminem is a huge supporter of combat athletes.
