Poor referee Herb Dean has been mercilessly trolled for his recent interaction with a female UFC staff member. UFC Vegas 63 might not have given the fans an eventful ending but it sure did give them a clip for ages.
Herb Dean is one of the most prominent referees in mixed martial arts. The veteran has always been subjected to a lot of criticism and is one of the most “meme-d” referee in UFC. The referees as such never have it easy with their job but in rare moments when they are caught “lacking” as Gen-Z say, they are trolled mercilessly.
At UFC Vegas 63, a Fight Night event headlined by Calvin Kattar and Arnold Allen, referee Herb Dean was seen “gazing” at a female UFC employee in the lead up to a prelims fight between Cody Durden and Carlos Mota. Dean, who was walking into the octagon with the fighter was seen looking at the UFC employee.
If Dean thought the “Herb Dean’s fault” meme was dying out, unfortunately, fans now have new content on the referee which will do its rounds on the internet. The footage was so good that even UFC middleweight fighter Derek Brunson had to call the referee out for his “foul thoughts”.

Twitter user “@DeepOceanEagle” was the first to surface this video on MMA Twitter. Given that UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Allen did not live to expectations of the fans, this video seemed to have caught on much quicker than the actual fight.
