‘The Baddy’ isn’t quite bad enough for Renato Moicano. The fighter thinks he’d quickly dispatch Paddy Pimblett in a potential UFC square-off. Moicano baited him out after his victory over Drew Dober in a bloody UFC Vegas 85 co-main event. Charlie Radtke overcame Gilbert Urbina via TKO (punches) in Round 1, at the 4:47 mark. Meanwhile, Renato Moicano defeated Dober via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) in the co-main event.
After the fight, Moicano hooked in Pimblett, saying the loser Dober should fight ‘The Baddy’ next to prove how strong he is. Taking notice, the Englishman retorted back, accepting his challenge. Moicano said he’s willing to fight Pimblett in the UFC’s rumored summer return to England, but won’t pursue him. Speaking on the ‘Believe You Me‘ podcast, he assessed him to be an easy fight. Now, here’s what he has said currently –
Give me the microphone right now because I have something to say. Hey Paddy Pimblett, you are fu**ing bi**h. I will beat your fu**ing a**. I am sorry for cursing on national TV but this guy sucks. And let me tell you something, UFC doesn’t have the ba**s to put me against him.

While at a Cage Fury Fighting Championships event, Moicano hijacked MMA reporter John Morgan‘s active commentary. Not only did he call out Pimblett, but also insinuated that the promotion wouldn’t go for it, hyping it up more so. Recent times have already seen his superior dominance on the mic; this instigation is another prime example.
At UFC Fight Night 235’s Octagon interview, Moicano stirred up the world with his bizarre announcement of his 62-year-old father birthing a new baby. The ecstatic lightweight then wowed the fight bubble with his pro-American sentiments. Now, playing the long game, baiting in UFC and Pimblett together, one could say he knows what he is doing.
Renato Moicano plays a long game for Paddy Pimblett fight
According to Renato Moicano, it’s “chess not checkers.”
Fresh from a grueling decision win over Drew Dober at UFC Vegas 85, Moicano appeared on The MMA Hour podcast. He revealed to host Ariel Helwani his long-term plan of setting up a fight with the ever-so-popular Paddy Pimblett.

The two have already traded barbs on social media, with Moicano initially suggesting that Dober should fight Pimblett next. The BJJ practitioner snapped back that he and Moicano should fight instead.
Moicano is interested in the hash-out. However, on two separate occasions, he has nudged in on playing the long game. Paddy Pimblett happens to be a prominent name within the promotion. So much so that he often attracts attention by supposedly having top honcho Dana White‘s privilege on his controversial outings.
With the UFC returning to Brazil in May, he’d love to meet Pimblett in his native country, but he’s just as happy to travel to Pimblett’s native England to face him. Only time will tell if this ever comes to fruition.
