Road to UFC bracket finalized, Indian fighters Anshul Jubli and Pawan Maan to fight in the tournament

UFC had recently announced a tournament for Asian fighters and the winner of the tournament would be awarded a UFC contract. Indian fighters Anshul Jubli and Pawan Maan will also compete in the tournament. The opening round of Road to UFC was announced by UFC today and the fights are scheduled to take place before UFC’s event in Singapore.

UFC will host their first Pay-per-View event in Singapore in June and the event will headline UFC light-heavyweight fighter Glover Teixeira talking on Jiri Prochazka for the Light-heavyweight title. Glover defeated Jan Blachowicz at UFC 267 to earn the UFC title and will defend it for the first time against #2 ranked fighter Jiri Prochazka, who is currently on a two-fight win streak in UFC. The event will also feature fighters like the pound-for-pound number one female fighter Valentina Shevchenko, former UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and UFC bantamweight Rogerio Bontorin.

The opening round of Road to UFC will take place across two days, June 9 and June 10, and fighters from Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and China will battle it out for the UFC contract. The semifinals and finals will take place later this year. UFC has announced the fight matchup for each division and the tournament will be on a win and advance basis. Two Indian fighters, Anshul Jubli and Pawan Maan are also fighting in the event and both will compete in the Lightweight division of the tournament.

The lightweight division is one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC. Fighters like Michael Chandler, Conor McGregor, Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier make the division one of the most entertaining yet dangerous divisions. Indian fighters Anshul Jubli and Pawan Mann will compete in the Lightweight division of the Road to UFC tournament and try to get a UFC contract to enter the most competitive promotion division.

Anshul Jubli hails from Uttarakhand, India, one of the top fighters in southeast Asia. Anshul had an amateur record of 13-0 before turning pro and is undefeated in his professional career. He has a professional record of 5 wins and 0 losses. Anshul will face Usami Sho Patrick from Japan. Usami has a professional record of 4 wins and 1 loss.

Pawan Mann is also an Indian fighter and belongs to the state of Uttar Pradesh. He has a professional record of 7 wins and 2 losses and he will fight the Chinese fighter Aili Muratbek in the first round of the Road to UFC. Aili has a professional record of 10 wins and 2 losses.
