Jon Jones Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey is undoubtedly one of the most popular fighters in UFC history. The former UFC bantamweight champion helped the promotion to get more viewers and attention. Back in her prime, Rousey was undefeated and was one of the most paid fighters in the promotion.
In one of her interviews back then with The Wall Street Journal, Rousey was asked a male fighter she would like to fight. Rousey quickly mentioned that she would like to test her skills against Jon Jones. Rousey stated that she and Jones are quite similar when it comes to fighting style and together they would put forward a great show.
She said: “Skills-wise, I would love to see where I would go with Jon Jones because he’s the one most able to improvise within a match, which is something I really pride myself on. So I think we’d do some crazy ninja stuff.”
She also chose UFC bantamweight Bryan Caraway, Miesha Tate’s boyfriend for a fight in order to beat him. “And Bryan Caraway is annoying, and it would be really fun to beat him up,” said Rousey.
Rowdy has always been considered a terrific fighter and there are clips of her throwing guys bigger than her in sparring sessions. However fighting Jones is definitely an hypothetical situation.
