Sean O’Malley will not let Merab Dvalishvili win in the battle of wits. Ever since UFC 299, Merab has mocked O’Malley with hilarious skits. The UFC bantamweight champion has finally responded to Dvalishvili’s series of skits with a chaotic video.
Sean O’Malley recently posted a video of him training with his coach, Tim Welch. In the video, both were seen joking around in what looked like a game plan about fighting Merab Dvalishvili. Welch impersonated Dvalishvili in the video. Initially, O’Malley acted scared but revealed it was a ploy to confuse and land the flying knee on his opponent (Dvalishvili). ‘Suga’ openly revealed the game plan on how to defeat O’Malley other than with his excellent boxing.
Dvalishvili had the credentials to face O’Malley for the bantamweight title before UFC 299. However, Suga chose to seek revenge against Marlon Vera. Once avenging his only career loss, O’Malley and Merab traded a few back-and-forth disses. Since then, both fighters verbally agreed to fight. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement yet about the fight.
Merab started by posting several skits in order to mock O’Malley on social media. The skits were extremely funny, and the fans immediately became engaged in the rivalry. As expected, O’Malley has responded in style. Moreover, Dvalishvili isn’t the only one who got roasted by O’Malley by an online video.
Sean O’Malley disses ‘Hater’ Henry Cejudo by impersonating the former champion
The rivalry between Sean O’Malley and Henry Cejudo has existed since 2022. Both the fighters have frequently participated in verbal altercations with each other. After Cejudo’s comeback, it was expected that he would fight O’Malley for the title. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the case, but that didn’t stop the series of continued online disses.
Recently, ‘Suga’ posted a video of him acting like ‘Triple C’ in one of Cejudo’s YouTube videos. O’Malley acted as the veteran and discussed the title of the fight between him and Marlon Vera. He mocked Cejudo’s movements, takedown drills, inside trips, and feints. One should note that Cejudo and O’Malley have also dealt personal attacks on each other.
O’Malley is a showman and knows his audience. Cejudo has yet to respond to the video. His funny personality outside the octagon makes him popular and has helped him to earn millions of fans. Fight fans might not get a fight between Cejudo and Suga. However, they might continue to get videos mocking each other.
