Sean O’Malley strongly believes he could silence bodybuilder-influencer Bradley Martyn in a fight despite a 100-pound difference in weight. O’Malley has an incredible MMA record of 16 wins and one loss. He defeated former champion Petr Yan in his last bout. It goes without saying that O’Malley could do some serious injury to an untrained person.
In a recent interview on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk, Bradley Martyn wanted to know if O’Malley could defeat him in a street fight. Martyn is well built in physique and weighs 260 pounds. O’Malley stated if he had enough space, his cardio would be lethal. In addition to that, he says that he had some grappling techniques to take down bigger opponents.

O’Malley is not the only UFC fighter to be posed with the bizarre question from Martyn. Nate Diaz, Demetrious Johnson, and many others have been challenged. Martyn, who claims to weigh 260 pounds believes his weight advantage would overpower the skills of the ‘smaller’ fighters.
O’Malley, however, has bigger fish to fry at UFC 292. He will fight for the bantamweight title against Aljamain Sterling. Sterling has successfully defended his title against three former champions and will be looking for his fourth successful title defense.
Aljamain Sterling poses danger for Sean O’Malley
Sean ‘O’Malley has an impressive fight resume without a doubt. He has fought and dominated his bantamweight opponents time and again. Sixteen wins with only one loss is not an easy feat in an MMA career. But is that enough to beat Aljamain Sterling?
Just like O’Malley, Sterling, too, has fought his way up to the title. His ground game was dominant enough to beat the Olympic champion Henry Cejudo. O’Malley has also outfought talents like Petr Yan and T.J. Dillashaw. He holds the record for the most title defenses in bantamweight history. He could extend that record if he could defeat O’Malley.
O’Malley is getting his first shot at the title along with the most formidable opponent. At UFC 292, he cannot afford to give out any openings. “Suga” must keep the fight on the feet to win the bantamweight title. Sterling poses too many threats for O’Malley in the grappling department.
