“Suga” Sean O’Malley dined with Dana White, Tim Welch, John Shahidi, and banned YouTuber Steve Will Do It at the Red Rock. O’Malley has a close relationship with NELK Boys, and so does Dana White. Shahidi and Steve are affiliated with the NELK Boys. However, despite having a fun time, Sean O’Malley fired shots at Henry Cejudo on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Suga wrote, “Talked with the boys and we decided to let @HenryCejudo off the roster. Great run champ. Enjoy retirement. Lmk if you need learn some wrestling defense.” Henry Cejudo has constantly asked for a title shot since losing against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 288. Cejudo boasted that he was better than O’Malley, but Suga continued to mock Cejudo’s subpar takedown defense.
Initially, Henry Cejudo had a bout scheduled with Marlon Vera at UFC 292. However, he injured his shoulder and pulled out of the bout. Cejudo’s path to a title shot remains through top contenders like Merab Dvalishvili and Cory Sandhagen. However, he might be out for the foreseeable future with his injured shoulder. On the other hand, O’Malley wants to defend his title in December.
A bout between Suga and Cejudo could only happen if they both put on a winning streak. The bantamweight division remains stacked with numerous contenders. Cejudo might need to put on a winning streak to once again contend for the title. However, Cejudo might need to fight more constantly to get in the title mix, with injuries piling up. Moreover, Suga and Cejudo will continue to beef online for the foreseeable future.
Fans react to Sean O’Malley trolling Henry Cejudo
Henry Cejudo and Sean O’Malley have beefed with each other for some time now. O’Malley’s recent dinner with Dana White made him selectively troll Cejudo on social media. Fans went on the internet to react to the troll job. Check out some of the fan reactions:
Suga appears to have gotten the better of this Twitter beef every single time. He has used Cejudo’s average takedown defense against Sterling at UFC 288 as the major talking point. On the other hand, O’Malley successfully defended all the takedowns from Sterling at UFC 292.
