He mentioned that Dana White‘s words about his championship belt placement were particularly memorable and motivating for him. After the victory at UFC 292, Dana said, “Kid, you have no idea how much money you’re gonna make.” to Sean O’Malley. O’Malley sees the words as extra motivation.
