UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley gives a lot of credit to his coach, Tim Welch, for his success. The duo has worked together since O’Malley’s starting days in mixed martial arts. Welch’s technical knowledge of the game has helped O’Malley improvise between fights, which is a key aspect of his success. Welch is also an active social media member who fondly keeps his opinion in front of the world. In his recent post, Welch disliked Rapper Drake‘s latest album.

Welch wrote on his official Twitter account, “Just turned off new Drake album and threw on some E 40.” This tweet received many comments from Twitter fans who reacted to the post. A fan replied to Welch’s criticism, “Another mid-Drake album. Such a bummer.“

Recently, Drake released a new album called ‘For All The Dogs.’ This was his eighth studio album, released on 6th October, 2023. Reportedly, the album was released through OVO Sounds and Republic Records. The album also features artists like Chief Keef, J.Cole and SZA. However, despite such hype, the album failed to impress Welch.

Welch’s MMA career consisted of 20 fights with 14 wins and six losses. Reportedly, Welch has competed for a total of eight years in MMA. 2017 saw the end of Welch’s run in MMA as he started to focus on coaching. However, many combat analysts, including Joe Rogan, have appreciated his adaptive understanding of the game. Undoubtedly, Welch’s analytical skills have contributed hugely to O’Malley’s success.
