“You’ll break a f***ing nail”- Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya go for each other’s throats at press conference

Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya engaged in a heated exchange during the press conference for UFC 276. UFC 276 is one of the biggest UFC event of 2022 and it features top MMA fighters like Max Holloway, Alex Pereira, Robbie Lawler and many more. Israel will headline the event as he defends his title against Jared Cannonier in his fifth title defence fight followed by UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, who will face Max Holloway for the third time in his career.
Apart from the championship fights, top fighters will compete in the Main card of the event and during the press conference, middleweight fighter Sean fired shots at Israel and both engaged in a fierce argument. Sean is known for making controversial statements and he even revealed that UFC officials asked him to be on his best behavior.
Being his first press conference, Sean was quick to take the spotlight and started firing shots at Israel and brought up his losses against Alex Pereira during his kickboxing career. Israel was triggered by the remarks and both shouted at each other with various arguments. Israel claimed that if Sean beats Alex at UFC 276, Izzy will fight him and kock him out.

While Sean might have gotten into nerves of Israel during the press conference with all the trash talks, middleweight champion Israel revealed he has respect for Sean because of his outspoken nature. Israel talked about Sean during the UFC 276 media day and said Sean is like his “step brother”
Israel said: “Yeah. I like Sean Strickland, man. He’s like the little step brother I never wanted. It’s a weird, like, respect. I respect the guy cause he just speaks his mind. I speak my mind too, but he speaks his mind regardless of the repercussions.“

Both Sean and Israel will enter the octagon on Saturday to face a tough opponent and both hope that the outcome would be positive. Sean will fight Alex Pereira and Israel will face Jared Cannonier for the middleweight title. UFC 276 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
