Sean Strickland rose to a new level of stardom when he beat Israel Adesanya to become the UFC middleweight champion. However, he lost his title to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297 recently. But, it took nothing away from Strickland as he looked undeterred and showcased his usual self. He even went snowboarding soon after the loss. Now, he released footage of him wrestling a fan on the snow.
On his Instagram account, Sean Strickland posted a video of a fan challenging him to a takedown contest. As such, he took it easy and playfully wrestled with him. However, the fan pushed and got hold of a single leg and nearly took Strickland down. But, soon, the American escaped the position and applied a face crack. This left no option for the fan but to tap out.
The fan first posted the video on his Instagram stories, which then Sean Strickland repurposed into a post. The fan praised the former champion as ‘A man for his people’ and claimed the wrestling interaction with him was the scariest moment of his life. On that note, Strickland, with his humorous touch, mentioned the fan was a better snowboarder than him but not a better wrestler.
Although Sean Strickland lost his UFC title, his stature among the fans never took a hit. Many even argued Strickland won his fight against Dricus Du Plessis. As such, Du Plessis’ win remained controversial, and the judges’ decision received criticism. As such, the American had a good argument to call for a rematch. But what happens is to be seen.

Sean Strickland always finds time for his fans and often interacts with them whether face-to-face or on social media. As such, when a fan spotted the former champion, he playfully called him to a wrestling contest. Although the fan tried his best, he ended up tapping as Strickland applied a face crank.
