UFC middleweight Sean Strickland has a history of voicing divisive opinions. Strickland has a history of making contentious remarks about liberal ideologies. He considers himself a “conservative” and supports a “natural way of life.” He recently gained attention again for his remarks about the COVID-19 pandemic. Strickland claimed that the pandemic was fabricated to target liberals.

Strickland took to Twitter, where he clarified his opinion on the virus. He tweeted, “I’m starting to think covid was manufactured to kill liberals. I say that because I only hear liberals/democrats say “Covid is leaving long term effects that might kill me”.So don’t be a liberal it’s bad for your health.” Strickland mainly discussed how some people continue to attribute their current issues to the pandemic.

He has always expressed his disgust toward liberals and their way of living. Recently he also spoke on liberal women and their families. Strickland has also made many conservative comments. He clarified that he rejects same-sex unions and upholds traditional gender roles. These opinions of Strickland have made him a very controversial figure in the UFC.

He has entertaining mic skills and is one of the most entertaining fighters on the roster. Strickland is gearing up to fight Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 in what could be the biggest fight of his career. Fans will be looking forward to seeing Strickland back in the octagon.
