Sean Strickland hilariously roasts Australia as the fighter gets stuck in customs for hours. In the main event of UFC 293 on September 10, 2023, at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, Israel Adesanya will defend his middleweight title against Sean Strickland.

Ahead of the fight, Sean Strickland recently landed in Australia in order to get settled and prepare for his huge fight. However, his welcome to the country wasn’t smooth at all, as the fighter was stopped at customs for two long hours.

Strickland is currently in Australia for what could be the biggest fight of his MMA career. An opportunity to get his hands on the UFC middleweight championship after beating Israel Adesanya in a five-round battle.

The fighter started his rivalry with Adesanya way back, and it seems like he will continue the same momentum in the upcoming press conference. However, before that, the fighters started making fun of Australia and its policies.

Strickland was surprised to learn Australians cannot carry weapons without a state-approved exemption.  As an American citizen who values his Second Amendment rights, the fighter took to Twitter and wrote:

“A woman can’t own a gun…. or a knife… or pepper spray…. My god! I’m coming to save you Australia.”  It seems like ‘Tarzan’ is just being himself and saying whatever he feels like, as he usually does. Fight fans must be excited about the press conference and the verbal altercations between Izzy and Strickland this fight week.
