Not many MMA fighters have an ounce of Media Training, Sean Strickland tops that list in this world. While he does not have the most Ill intentions, some of the stuff that comes out of Sean’s mouth can only be classified as downright horrendous.

Strickland for his verbal antics has managed to get himself kicked off Twitter not once but twice. He has also been deplatformed from Instagram several times only for the UFC star to keep coming back.

Strickland’s most recent suspension from Twitter came when he alleged transgender people to be “mentally challenged” among other things like suggesting school teachers should be armed and accusing people who drive bikes instead of cars or mototbikes to not be “real men”

After the most recent boot from Twitter, Strickland has kept a low profile in preparation for his bout against Alex Pereira. The fighter did return to Instagram but has kept away from making outlandish statements. Dana White has said the winner of their fight will challenge for a title next, hence the opportunity to upset the MMA world by not allowing kickboxing rivals Pereira and Adesanya to face off in the ocatgon while also getting yourself a title shot is too lucrative for Sean to fumble.

Sean’s biggest fears came true when he received the call to be on the UFC 276 press conference panel. Thinking out loud, the fighter posted to Instagram saying how he fears getting cancelled for saying what he’s thinking at the press conference saying, “I don’t wanna get Gina Carano’d”

He said, “I got back fu*ing news, the UFC wants me to be at the press conference and I’m a little scared. ” Explaining the reason for him being scared, Strickland said it is not the same as talking to his “degenerate” fans on Instagram when you’re being watched by the “overlords “ ESPN and Walt Disney. “If I f*ck up, I’m gonna get Gina Carano’d and I don’t want that, so I really need to sit down and shut the f*ck up”

Strickland went on to joke about how he might not say anything during the presser and may even bring out headphones to block out the noise. Adding that he knew the right thing to do was to, “shut the f*ck up” Strickland ended the video.
