Sean Strickland
UFC middleweight Sean Strickland shared a video of a tough sparring session he had with Denis Douglin who had allegedly called him out on social media. Strickland is infamous for going all out on his opponents during training sessions. Earlier this year he even knocked out one of his training partners.
According to Strickland, neither fighter was knocked out during the session. However, despite Douglin being the smaller combatant, it seemed as if he had the upper hand. During the session, the two fighters also traded insults. At one point Douglin begged for mercy saying, “I got kids”. In response, Strickland said, “I don’t give a fuck about those kids”.
Strickland also took to Twitter to post a meme of his training session.
Strickland further asserted that they had buried the hatchet and that the earnings from his sparring session will be given to a charity. Sean Strickland’s last appearance in the Octagon was UFC 276 when he fell short to Alex Pereira. ‘Tarzan’ is currently preparing for his fight against Jared Cannonier which will be pivotal for the Middleweight division.
Sean Strickland is surprised by the fact that Isreal Adesanya lost to Alex Pereira
This past weekend at UFC 281 Alex Pereira become the new king of the middleweight division. In only his fourth fight inside the UFC, Pereira challenged Adesanya for the middleweight title of the UFC and eliminated the previous champion through a fifth-round TKO.
Strickland didn’t anticipate the contest to conclude the way it did, despite his differences with Adesanya. Speaking to The Schmo he said, “He’s a f****** badass big motherf****** Brazilian and he touches you and you go to sleep, it’s the weirdest f****** thing…But I was not expecting that. I was a little surprised. I thought ‘Izzy’ was gonna be a twinkle toes and f***** dance around and outpoint him”

At UFC 276 this past July, Alex Pereira defeated top challenger Strickland by first-round knockout to win his crack at the title. The main criticism leveled at Strickland after his lone middleweight loss in July was that he ought to have attempted to wrestle with the more experienced kickboxer.
